Welcome to Women’s Health & Counseling Center!

 

Women’s Health & Counseling Center provides high quality primary, preventative, and reproductive healthcare services, as well as sexual assault counseling and support programs for women and teens in central NJ.

 

If you are uninsured, underinsured, or have difficulty receiving medical care due to financial, social, cultural, language, or other barriers, we can help.

 

URGENT NEWS: Governor Christie's 2011 state budget proposed the complete elimination of state funding for family planning services.  Last year, this budget line allocated over $7 million for basic reproductive health care services. This proposal hurts women and costs the state money. Click here to help!

 

 

Our Health Services include:

  • Primary and preventative healthcare

  • Reproductive services

  • Cancer screenings

  • Prescription assistance plan for clients

  • Appointment Desk: 908-526-2335

 

WHCC offers limited services for men, including wellness screenings, STI and HIV testing and treatment. Please call 908-526-2335 for more information.

 

Our Sexual Assault Support Services are available to anyone who has been affected by sexual violence.

  • A free, confidential 24-hour hotline and crisis counseling 908-526-7444.

  • Survivor accompaniment to the police station and/or hospital.

  • Crisis counseling for survivors, families, and significant others.

 

Our Education and Outreach Services provide:

  • Onsite health education and pregnancy prevention programs to Somerset County students

  • Workshops on health related topics

 

As a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, WHCC relies on the support and generosity of the public to continue our work.  Donations are much needed and greatly appreciated.  Volunteers are always welcome!
